'An experiment in remote listening'

An experiment in remote listening raises profound questions about the nature of presence - absence of the listener and / or the music player. Can we truly be present in a place we have never physically occupied? Can we forge meaningful connections and feelings through the medium of sound alone? Can you challenge your understanding of communication and empathy in an increasingly digitized world?

Remote listening is an exploration of connection, both between individuals (musicians and audience) across distances. It transcends the limitations of space, allowing for an exchange of auditory information that defies conventional listening boundaries. Through the use of advanced technologies (especially after the Covid era), participants are able to immerse themselves in a shared sonic landscape, despite being separated by miles or even continents.

An experiment in remote listening serves as a reminder of the boundless possibilities inherent in human perception and creativity. Everything is different because of external listening conditions but are we are all participants - inhabitants of the same (global) village?
